We do not use metal snaps on any of our products. Metal snaps, commonly found in today's baby clothing have been blamed for choking hazards, due to their poor design and attaching procedures. Metal snaps are very difficult to snap and unsnap. Due to this fact, the fabric around the snaps weakens and frays partially exposing the snaps. This is usually what contributes to many incidents where a metal snap has fallen off and become an immediate choking hazard.
